What Happens After You Reach Out

Your message goes to Kris Black — the engineer who would actually build the thing — not to an inbox monitored by a sales team. Most messages get a reply within one business day, and the reply is a real answer rather than a request to schedule a call about scheduling a call.

If what you need is straightforward, you will get a straight answer by email: whether it is something we do, roughly what it involves, and what it would take to start. If it is bigger than an email can settle, the next step is a scoping conversation where we work out what you are trying to fix and whether we are the right people to fix it. You can skip ahead and book that consultation directly if you already know you want one.

If you are an existing client with something broken, use support instead — it routes to the same person, faster, with your account context attached.

What To Include

None of this is required, and a two-line message is genuinely fine. But the more of it you can tell us up front, the more useful the first reply will be:

  • What is happening now — the site you have, the tools you pay for, what is frustrating you about them.
  • What you want to be different, described as an outcome rather than a feature list.
  • Roughly how many customers or leads you handle in a month, so we can size the system honestly.
  • Any deadline you are working against, and whether it is real or aspirational.
  • Whether you are starting fresh or rescuing something an earlier vendor left behind.

Not sure what you need yet? The ecosystem overview lays out what each layer does, and how we work covers the process from discovery through launch.

Where We Are

Araptus LLC is based in Alvin, Texas, and works throughout the Houston metro — Pearland, League City, Friendswood, Sugar Land, and the surrounding area — as well as with clients well outside Texas. Local businesses often want someone they can meet in person for discovery; everything after that runs just as well remotely.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Getting In Touch

How quickly will I hear back?

Usually within one business day. If you have not heard anything in two, something went wrong — resend, or call. We would rather you chase us than assume we are not interested.

Will I be talking to a salesperson?

No. There is no sales team. You will be talking to the engineer who would do the work, which is also why the answers you get are specific rather than reassuring.

Do you charge for the first conversation?

No. Scoping conversations are free, including the part where we tell you that what you actually need is smaller and cheaper than what you asked about.

My Company Shares a Name With 185 Beetles. Reddit Would Say I'm Doomed.

185 entities in the database behind Google's knowledge graph carry my company's name, and every one is a bark beetle. I audited what that actually does to search and AI answers — and found the real problem somewhere else entirely.

Does the Vercel Firewall Actually Work? Reddit Asks — Here Are 96 Days of Logs

Reddit asks this constantly and nobody posts numbers. Here are mine: 238 probe events from rented cloud servers in 39 days, then zero for the next 57 — with a public third-party record to check it against.

Where Does Bot Traffic Actually Come From? Reddit Asks — I Resolved Every Address

I looked up the network owner of all 194 addresses that touched my system in 96 days. 87% of the hostile ones were rented cloud servers. 90% of everyone else was a home internet connection.

Only the Defender Is Disarmed: The Hugging Face AI Breach and the Guardrail Asymmetry Problem

An autonomous AI agent escaped its sandbox and breached Hugging Face. Then the safety guardrails blocked the defenders — not the attacker. Here's why that asymmetry is a national security problem.
